With a limited HR system with no ability to integrate to third parties the society was keen to move away from working with a number of disparate systems and wanted a multi-faceted system that would streamline their processes, enable workflow and introduce self-service to their staff.

The company was working with an aged system and many of the company’s processes could not be captured in the system, they had many “work arounds” in place.  They wanted to create efficiencies and improve management reporting.  Much of the information was disparate around the organisation and there was a general lack of visibility of information and many departments had to re-key a high percentage of the work.

A fast growing Direct Marketing house working in a completely manual way using Microsoft excel for most areas of their business.  Required a system that would allow them to report by project, to automate their sales order generation through to production, planning, billing and finance.

Plumbers Merchants, Integrated Finance, Warehouse and Trade Counter System

The system the company was using was not dependable and the information could not be trusted.  Most areas were working in a labour intensive fashion.  Much work was being duplicated and to ensure accuracy critical areas were completely manual, e.g. cash book and vat journal.  Although 70% of their stock was standard within their stock codes 30% required manual coding.  The way in which this 30% element of stock was being handled left the company exposed with no ability to track stock, no audit trail and no reconciliation against purchase orders, invoices.  They had way no of knowing if an item was in the warehouse and they were exposed to being billed twice.

In order to satisfy regulations this company required a system that would allow for changes to be made to designs with a unique identity, create concessions and give traceability and ensure build to a specified standard.

Manufacturer of Electrical Equipment,  ERP with a focus on good reporting and an element of CRM

Manufacturers of an extensive range of electrical equipment used throughout electricity supply distribution networks, from substation to consumer.  The existing system was unable to support new PC’s with windows XP and it had limitations in not being able to handle workflows, lean manufacturing and had very limited reporting capabilities.

Single large site client using an very old system with problematic upgrades that left the company with major issues in different areas of the system for prolonged periods that had significant impact on the overall running of the business.  They required a system that would have estimating, enquiry processing and job costing integral to the solution.

Food Processing Company, Fully integrated system including financials with consolidated accounts, purchase order processing, production planning, raw material calculation, stock control, MRP and CRM

This client was using a bespoke system that was integrated with Sage for their financials.  All processes were manual without any form of stock control.  Their need for production planning, visibility of information, re-keying issues and stock control were all key drivers for this project.

This company was looking to improve accuracy of sales invoicing, establish effective stock control, create transparency of stock over 3 sites, production control manufacturing costing through a new financial module of an ERP solution that they could take on module by module.

This company required a finance system for their standard accounting and to include cost centre analysis to be able to report at branch level and multi-currency.  It also needed to integrate with their specialist Insurance System.

Their existing Finance package was out of date and no longer being supported by the software vendor.  The accounts team were spending a lot of time working on purchase order / invoice reconciliation as they were exposed to the possibility of paying for stock they had not received.

This client found their system was taking too much management and administration.  The client also wanted to release the benefits of using the web.  They were looking for a system that was capable of recording, processing, and reporting information concerning their 2,000 UK based personnel.  They wanted their staff to have a degree of self-administration for personal details, expense processes, vehicle mileage etc. with on-line processing and authorisation.

A wholesale company with 50 branches selling electrical equipment through their branches with trade counter and collection services, with their own distribution fleet delivering from their own warehouse.  Looking to increase their sales by 20% and create efficiencies by managing client accounts through web ordering, this company was looking for an e-commerce solution to link into their existing ERP solution.
